Kellys Island, Ohio.

Sue and I had an unusual free summer Saturday on July 18, 2009 so we decided to make a day trip to
Kelly's Island, Ohio. We had never been to Kelly's Island, but had heard about the glacier groves,
quietness, and abundance of pubs and eateries. We also heard that is is bicycle friendly (maybe not
so much so for some if you are all liquored up trying to ride down hill at dusk).
Its only a couple hours from home and a short ferry ride. We took our bikes
with us and left the car on the main land in Marble Head. We saw the sites, put a few miles on the bikes,and
ate lunch. We spent about 7 hours there, which was enough for the first day trip.
